Over the past two years, the Middlesex region of the British Bangladeshi Caterers Association (BBCA) has worked tirelessly to help the catering industry bounce back after the COVID-19 pandemic. Led by President Syed Fokrul Alom, Secretary Ruhul Amin, and Treasurer Abdullah Islam, this team has spearheaded efforts to lend a helping hand to caterers in need, making a significant impact in their community and beyond.

A major part of their work has been to set up a support network for caterers. This includes offering financial advice, resources for keeping businesses up to health and safety standards, and tips on how to adapt to the ever-changing market. Thanks to these efforts, many businesses have managed not just to survive but to flourish.

As a sign of their success and dedication, the BBCA has welcomed five (5) new life members over the last two years. These individuals have made noteworthy contributions to the catering industry and are celebrated for their commitment and hard work. Their recognition as life members not only honours their achievements but also encourages others in the industry to aim high and give back to their community.

The journey of the Middlesex BBCA through the challenging times following the pandemic is a great example of what can be achieved when a community comes together. Their work has provided invaluable support to their members and has played a crucial role in strengthening the British Bangladeshi catering industry.
